The year? 2022. The obsession? Skincare. The problem? Dullness, uneven complexion, dryness.
The solution? SolaWave.
Listen, y’all, I’m not one to spend big bucks on skincare, so a nearly $150 beauty tool is normally not in the cards for me. And, full disclosure, I didn’t buy this — SolaWave sent us one to test and share with you.
However, after a couple months using SolaWave’s wand, I can say with the utmost confidence that I’d drop the big bucks on it in a heartbeat. In a nanosecond, I’d be like, do you want more money for this? And when they insist, “No, just the $150 is fine, thank you,” I’d fall to their metaphorical feet in adoration.
So, what is this tool and why is it shaking up the beauty scene? Let’s get into it!

Want the science behind the magic? Here’s what SolaWave’s site has to say about what makes this wand incredible and why it was awarded the #1 skincare tool of 2021 and 2022:
“The award-winning Advanced Skincare Wand combines four powerful skincare technologies for the ultimate at-home facial treatment. Reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, dark circles, blemishes, and dark spots. De-puff and energize the skin in as little as five minutes per day, three times per week. The Advanced Skincare Wand combines four science-backed, clinically-proven dermatology technologies: Microcurrent, Red Light Therapy, Facial Massage, and Therapeutic Warmth.”
De-puff? Energize? REDUCE DARK CIRCLES?! When I got my hands on this baby, I couldn’t try it fast enough.
I’m also happy to report that the quality of my skin has improved by about 100%. My complexion is more even than it’s ever been, my dark circles have seriously diminished, and my skin is just brighter overall. Check out my before and after pictures (sans glasses and makeup, and with eyebrows that desperately need a tweeze — don’t judge) below:
How To Use SolaWave’s Red Light Wand
I got the bundle that comes with the blue activating serum. Basically, you apply some serum to your skin and then go over it with the wand. You want your skin to be damp, so I usually apply it section by section so it doesn’t dry on my skin before I’ve gotten to it with the wand. Then I’ll spend a minute or two on each section of my face — cheeks, under eyes, and forehead — massaging my face with the wand in upward strokes.
It feels lovely, just slightly warm and with a gentle vibration. And the results? As you can see above, stunning. Results will be even more pronounced if you have fine lines, wrinkles, or age spots.
Have I convinced you yet? Trust me, this is one device you have to take the plunge on.
