While Amelia Earhart was best known for being in the air, the quotes that she’s known for are shockingly down to earth. 

Amelia Earhart is widely recognized for being the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She was also the first person ever to fly solo from Hawaii to the U.S. mainland.

While her plane mysteriously disappeared during her flight to circumnavigate the globe, her words remain prevalent in today’s world. 

Many people don’t know that she wrote a book about her journey to becoming the brilliant woman she was known as and she was influential in the first formation of the Ninety-Nines, an organization for female pilots.
