I’m a huge fan of weekender bags — and not just for travel. You can use ’em year-round to carry your essentials with the perfect marriage of function and style.
When running around town, I keep a weekender in the backseat that carries everything I need in it from an umbrella to toiletries, plus my laptop and chargers, if needed. I also have a couple of weekenders on hand to pack up when I’m ready to get out of town. Here are some of my favorites.
From carrying around gym clothes or packing for a short trip, this weekender bag will be used again and again.
The handles on this weekender are far from boring. This bag is great for throwing your stuff in the trunk of your car and getting out of town.
The travel accessory darling’s weekender not only has enough space for your phone, wallet, keys, etc., but it includes interior compartments for extra organization.
Minimalist, stylish, and cool, this is the weekender bag you pack when you want to feel like a jetsetter.
I view my travel experiences as before and after I bought Lo & Sons. The Catalina Deluxe is a serious game-changer: the bottom hosts a separate place to store shoes, while the interior has enough compartments and pockets to keep everything in place.
I was hesitant to put two different bags from the same company on this list, but I use them both. The O.G. 2 is nice enough to take to work, but functional enough to take on vacay, I use this bag every. time. I. travel. (I’m writing this from an Airbnb in Amsterdam and the O.G. is resting on the floor next to the dining room table).
Functional, modern, and made for busy mamas, it’s as if Mary Poppins designed these weekender bags for the struggling parents.
Carry the weekender by the workout wunderkind, and you’ll look like the kind of person who can add guac to their Chipotle burrito bowl anytime you want.
The cool blue color of this bag is a nice change of pace from the standard neutral colorways.
