When these videos first started appearing on my Instagram feed, I was hooked. What’s more disgustingly satisfying than scrubbing off some dead skin? Few things. And since I deal with keratosis pilaris (aka the cause of my strawberry legs), I knew I had to try the exfoliating glove.
My Wildpier Exfoliating Glove Review
The glove arrived about a week after I ordered it – right on time, considering it shipped from Canada. I couldn’t wait to try it (mostly because I wanted the satisfaction of seeing my dead skin slough off in the bath), so I hopped in the tub to take my new glove for a spin.
The instructions say to soften your skin by soaking for at least 5 minutes in a bath or shower. Then, dampen the glove, wring out any excess water, and rub your skin with long, firm strokes to exfoliate.
I must say, I was…underwhelmed? Firstly, I was super disappointed that I didn’t visually see any of my dead skin coming off. Second, the glove was way rougher than I expected, and using long, firm strokes, honestly, kind of hurt. However, I did notice that my skin seemed way softer after using the glove.
I’m not sure why I didn’t get the visual results I was expecting, though the company says not to worry if you don’t:

On the whole, will I keep using this product? Yeah, probably. My skin is definitely softer after I use it, and though my strawberry legs aren’t totally gone, I have noticed a slight improvement after using the glove a few times. Again, it is a bit abrasive, so I’m not sure if I’ll buy it again. Overall, I’d give it a 3.5/5 stars – it reveals softer skin but hasn’t stood up to the stunning visual effects I was hoping to see.
