The holiday season is upon us and that means that we’re met with the tastiest treats of the entire year. While we’re never going to complain about that, this season does often add a little extra pressure for those of us who don’t love to drink in excess (or at all). 

Thankfully, just because we’re not drinking doesn’t mean we have to miss out on all the amazing flavors of the season. Today, we’re serving up the best mocktails and cocktails of the season — fit for all of your guests!

Cranberry Mint Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberry juice

  • ¼ cup sparkling water

  • 2 Tbsp mint syrup

  • 8-16 frozen fresh cranberries

  • Crushed ice cubes

  • Sprigs of fresh mint

Instructions

  1. In a large measuring cup, combine the cranberry juice, sparkling water, and mint syrup. 

  2. Pour the mixture into two cocktail glasses filled with crushed ice and fresh cranberries. 

  3. Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint.

Christmas Sangria

Ingredients

  • 2 750ml bottles Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay

  • ¾ cup sparkling apple cider

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • ¼ cup cranberries (halved)

  • ¾ cup cranberries (whole)

  • 1 Granny Smith apple (chopped)

  • 3 rosemary sprigs

  • Garnish: rosemary sprigs

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large pitcher and stir them together with a wooden spoon to help the sugar dissolve. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. 

  2. Serve in a chilled glass with the garnish of rosemary sprigs.

Peppermint White Russian Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. strong brewed coffee

  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract

  • ⅛ tsp peppermint extract

  • 2 oz. heavy cream 

  • 1 peppermint stick

Instructions

  1. Fill the glasses with ice and pour the coffee over them. Add the vanilla and peppermint extracts. 

  2. Next, ‘float’ the cream over the coffee and stir gently. Add a peppermint stick to garnish and enjoy!

Winter Bourbon Smash

Ingredients

  • ½ cup ice

  • 2 Tbsp preserves or jam of choice

  • 2 Tbsp bourbon

  • 1 Tbsp triple sec

  • 2-3 Tbsp orange juice

  • Orange segments

  • Splash of club soda

Instructions

  1. Add the ice, preserves, triple sec, and orange juice to a shaker and shake it vigorously for 15 seconds. 

  2. Pour the drink into a serving glass with a few ice cubes and top with a splash of club soda. Garnish with orange slices and enjoy.

Vanilla Cranberry Mimosa

Ingredients

  • 1 + ½ oz. vanilla-flavored vodka

  • 1 + ½ oz. cranberry juice

  • Sparkling wine

  • Fresh cranberries

  • Whole vanilla beans

Instructions

  1. Combine the vanilla vodka, cranberry juice, and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously then strain the drink into a champagne flute. Fill the glass to the top with sparkling wine and garnish with vanilla beans or cranberries, as desired.

Eggnog Martini Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. eggnog

  • ¾ oz. nonalcoholic amaretto

  • ½ oz. vanilla simple syrup

  • Ice

  • Grated nutmeg and cinnamon sticks to garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill a glass. 

  2. In a cocktail shaker, add the ice, eggnog, amaretto, and vanilla syrup. Shake to chill. 

  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled glass and garnish with grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
