These Simmer Pot Recipes Will Make Your Home Smell Amazing

Featured Image Source

There’s nothing quite so cozy as the smells of fall. If I walk into a house and it smells anything like a pumpkin spice latte, apples, cinnamon, or spices, I’ll move in the next day. While our fall candles have already been burning for months (oops!) there’s another way to make your house smell like autumn that might be even better than candles. That’s right, we said it.

A simmer pot or stovetop potpourri is the perfect way to make your home smell like fall without burning through wax. Just start by filling a pot with some sliced fruit, herbs, or whatever fragrance you want, add water, and bring it to a simmer on the stove. It honestly couldn’t be simpler, and it makes getting into the fall spirit so much easier with a witches’ cauldron bubbling on your stove.
