Check Out The 9 Target Style Buys That Get Me Compliments Left And Right

When we think “fashion” and “style”, Target might not really be top of the list for many of us. When we hit Target to do some shopping, it’s usually for non-fashion items, but I’m here to tell you that Target can be your one-stop-shop for all your fashion needs! Over the years I’ve been continuously impressed by Target’s apparel. I’ve seen some of my girlfriends rock the cutest bathing suits from there! Their clothes are also affordable and hold up well for the price. I’ve enjoyed doing online orders from them (quick and easy) but if you’re ever on a Target shopping trip, be sure to browse the clothes department for a little longer!

If you’re not too familiar with Target style, here is a quick breakdown of the most popular brands they carry. Wild Fable is their junior line so their styles tend to run shorter and their pieces are trendier (e.g. mini peasant dresses, graphic tees, ruched dresses). A New Day carries your styles in basic, essential silhouettes in soft, everyday colors. It’s a brand for casual wear — super comfortable and contemporary. Universal Thread carries more floral and bohemian styles along with basics in earthy palettes. I would say they are comparable to styles you’ll find in Madewell or J.Crew. Who What Wear carries a lot of modern and refined contemporary styles in bolder colors and silhouettes. You can find co-ords, work wear, and day-to-night styles.

Here are my current 9 favorite fashion finds from Target!

Dresses

Target carries a lot of essentials so if you’re looking for basic t-shirt dresses, cotton maxi dresses, etc. you’re sure to find a nice selection at Target. If you enjoy flowy, bohemian, feminine, and floral styles (think Anthropologie or Free People), Target dresses hit the mark! I like how the cuts are on the more modest side and super wearable for a lot of occasions. I also love how many of their styles can easily be dressed up with gold jewelry and sandals.

Jackets and Tops

Target always carries the essential outerwear pieces like denim jackets and leather moto jackets but you can also find wrap coats and puffer jackets. Today I’ve highlighted 2 puffer jackets in 2 very different silhouettes that both have great reviews. A warm and sturdy puffer jacket doesn’t need to break the bank! I also enjoy their tops and blouses because they pair well with denim and come in colors and silhouettes that can stand alone without too much extra accessorizing needed.

Shoes

One of my favorite pairs of mules is from Target — I’ve been wearing them for almost 5 years now and they still hold up well! All the shoes I’ve ever purchased from Target have been a hit and I’m loving their current selection of waterproof hiking boots (and boots in general). They’ve also got great everyday mules and sandals that you can have ready for spring time.
