I am obligated to acknowledge that those who advocate for living with fewer possessions are actually onto something here. They are known as “minimalists,” and I have been known to be a “pack rat” (not a hoarder, you won’t see me featured on the A&E show Hoarders).
After a good decluttering, I do feel pretty good about the purge, but my problem is that it only lasts for a month, at most, until I return to my usual ways. And that means more stuff.
