Grace Kelly was one of the most legendary American actresses in history.

Grace Kelly’s life seems picture-perfect to anyone who knows about it. She was a student at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, a Broadway actress, and one of the world’s most prominent movie stars. She starred in Rear Window, On the Waterfront, and The Country Girl, to name a few. Her work in the latter won her the Academy Award for Best Actress. She also received an Oscar nomination and the New York Film Critics Circle Award for best actress in Rear Window, Dial M for Murder, and The Country Girl. She won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama in 1955.

While many would stop there, Grace Kelly continued to thrive. In 1955, Kelly headed the U.S. delegation at the Cannes Film Festival where she met Prince Rainier III, the Prince of Monaco. The two were married within a year.

Once again, Kelly’s legacy didn’t end there. She is often known as the ‘Classic Hitchcock blonde’ or the ‘Elegant glamour girl of the screen.’ After her death, her husband created the Princess Grace Foundation to continue the work she did during her life. The foundation assists emerging theatre, dance, and film artists in America.

Her legacy and her words live on today and we want to share some of our favorite quotes from the princess.
