Everyone knows Princess Diana’s tragic story, but something that often gets overlooked is how passionate she was about bettering mental health everywhere she went.

The Princess of Wales took on the royal responsibility of representing the Queen during her time in power and appeared at many functions where she supported children, sick people, the elderly, and others in need. While she prioritized helping children, she also supported two campaigns: one that focused on improving the acceptance and treatment of AIDS patients and one which was connected to the International Red Cross. She also advocated for and raised awareness for patients with cancer and mental illness.

Today, we’re celebrating her and her work by sharing some of our favorite quotes from Princess Diana.
