I love changing up my home fragrance profile based on the season. Probably my favorite “scent” season is the holidays and winter. I love ALL the smells associated with winter and the holiday season — baking spices, cocoa, wood fires, pine, fresh snow, etc. And candles make a great gift during this time of year, especially as hostess gifts if you’re visiting family and friends and want to bring a token of your appreciation for their hospitality. You can never go wrong with a candle or home fragrance — worst case, they don’t love the scent and even then, it’s an easily re-gifted item!
NEST New York Holiday Candle
This earthy, woody candle has a long burn time (50-60 hours) and features a blend of “pomegranate, mandarin orange, pine, cloves, and cinnamon with a hint of vanilla and amber.”
Jo Malone Orange Bitters Liquidless Diffusers
This liquidless diffuser is essentially an art piece that also scents your home. The black marble fits in with any decor, and while the price tag is steep, the scent of orange bitters will last for about three months (so really it’s a steal, IMO).
