I’ve long been a fan of Blair Eadie, and her blog, Atlantic-Pacific, is a must read for any fashionista or lover of color like me. If you’ve seen my home interior, you know I don’t shy away from color and neither does Blair. She is known for her exciting use of color and unexpected pairings of colors and prints. Her look is truly unique.
I’ve also long told you readers to buy brands that feel and look more expensive than they are. There are certain well made clothing lines that just feel luxurious and have all the small detailing you would expect from much higher priced designer labels. When I find a brand like this, I always try and share it with you because I love helping people build their wardrobes and feel their absolute best no matter the budget.
Blair’s brand Atlantic Pacific has teamed up with another fantastic brand, Halogen to bring a fresh and unique look to Nordstrom stores across the country. Every time a new season’s collection of Halogen x Atlantic Pacific is dropped, I have to go and grab some pieces because I know I am going to get amazing quality and also style that will get me plenty of compliments.
You’ve seen me wear this brand collab in the past- remember this fun red and pink polka dot fur coat? It’s such a show stopper and it’s from the Halogen x Atlantic Pacific Fall/Winter collection. So is this cute set I wore a million times- a unique turquoise pleated leather maxi skirt and coordinating fair isle sweater. I even wore this in London to tour the Purdey factory- every time I wear it I have someone ask me where I bought it. The leather skirt feels SO expensive and kept me warm even on the coldest British evening.
So the new collection just dropped and I couldn’t wait to show you just a couple of my favorite pieces, I promise there will be more to come! This pandemic has me struggling to be creative with shooting looks, but I am doing my best. First I could not pass up this super fun rainbow knit sweater. It comes in two other color combos, but I love how versatile the rainbow will be. I paired it here with white jeans and red Rothy’s slip-ons. This would be a cute outfit just running errands or meeting friends for lunch- so easy but still adorable.
I am completely obsessed with this tweed blazer in lime green. Obsessed! I actually also bought it in pink (so predictable of me, I know) and I know the pink will go with everything in my closet but I wanted to push myself outside my comfort zone and try the lime. I’m so glad I did- paired with crisp white it’s so chic and elegant. I could conquer any boardroom meeting in this power outfit. My slacks and cowlneck cami are from Amazon’s The Drop, another well made brand I champion on here. I added some white pumps and I’m good to go.
