Spooky season just doesn’t get more fun than celebrating with classmates! Since Halloween falls on a Monday this year, your ghoulish little will definitely be spending part of the day in class. That could lead to fun activities such as class parties, which makes for a great opportunity to add to this spooky day!
If you’re looking to go the extra mile and contribute more than the standard store-bought cupcakes, or you’re looking for a way to step up your game for the trick-or-treaters this year, you’ve come to the right place. These easy Halloween treats for school ideas can be used for both class parties and candy distribution alike.
Medical Glove Candy Hand
This idea has been done again and again, but I didn’t think to utilize it for a class party, until my daughter came home with one. Simply take a white rubber medical glove and fill it with fun treats. Tie it at the bottom with a colored ribbon or rubber band. You can pass out these hands to classmates or trick-or-treaters on Halloween night. The look of the hand gives it a spooky effect, and the kids get a ton of candy versus the one to two pieces they would usually grab. For added fun, add a plastic spider ring to one of the fingers.
Think Beyond Candy
Kids get SO much candy during the month of October that after the 10th house on Halloween night, they’re a bit desensitized to what candy they’re receiving. Mix it up by passing out fun items that are not candy. This also goes for classroom goodies as well. It’s got to be things kids actually like, but something that won’t cost you a fortune to buy (we recommend finding sites where you can buy in bulk!). Some items that are fun to give but not candy related:

Puzzles

Personalized Slime Kits
Looking to spook up your treat option without rotting the teeth? How about personalized slime kits! It sounds like a lot of work but it really isn’t. Depending on the size of the class, you can make this small and simple, or go all out.
You can order small bead organizing boxes online, and fill the sections with various things to add into their slime. Buy slime in bulk and attach with the accessories using a festive ribbon. It will allow the kids to create their own spooky slime, without the headache of what it takes to actually make slime. I’ve attached some shoppable links below for your convenience.

DIY Cookie Kits
Again, depending on the size of your child’s classroom, you can size this accordingly. The simplest way to execute this DIY idea is to put the ingredients they would need for cookie making inside a large mason jar and attach a spooky cookie cutter with ribbon to the top.
Glue the recipe to the cookies that go with the mix and you are done! You can decorate the jar with cute Halloween stickers or leave as-is. I’ve attached some shoppable links below.
