Cariuma first caught my eye with their Reforestation program in Brazil. Both of Cariuma’s founders are from Brazil, and in a pledge to produce sneakers that are also good for the planet, they’re planting a pair of trees for every sneaker purchased! I love that their mission is to create crazy comfy, consciously made sneakers with an increased lifespan that evolve with their customers.

Their shoe boxes double as shipping boxes and they utilize 100% recycled & recyclable paper (certified by the Forest Stewardship Council) to cushion the shoes

Their dye chemicals are Bluesign-certified to ensure no hazardous output during the dyeing process, minimizing pollution and reducing water usage

We attempted to contact them through email since we wanted to return them. After sent emails, we received a response that we are unable to return the shoes because they are made-to-order and there is no right of return!!!
