The style icon of the 90’s, Fran (Drescher) Fine always had the best hyper-feminine outfits. From bold prints and colors to mini skirts and fitted blazers, Brenda Cooper (costume designer for The Nanny) always managed to put together the best and most memorable outfits that stand the test of time. Fran taught us to never dull yourself down and always be bold with your fashion. We combed through 6 seasons of The Nanny to show you how to recreate our favorite looks from the show!
Bold Pants

This outfit is fairly simple for Fran, but the statement pants are everything! The vintage Moschino pants are still an iconic wardrobe piece talked about to this day. Printed pants are a fun wardrobe piece, so we put together a list of super chic pants (and white button-ups) that can dress up any outfit and give you that “iconic” moment.
Patterns
Just like the last outfit, patterns are key. This checkered skirt mixed with the vibrant turtleneck is just the right mix to make this outfit work. Red is her signature color, of course, and can be seen woven into many of her well-known outfits throughout every season. Red might not be everyone’s cup of tea so we’ve found some vibrant turtlenecks in all different colors! Don’t worry, we also found some similar printed skirts so you can look just as bold as Fran.
All Black Everything

This all-black outfit makes such a statement, especially with the hint of gold used in her belt. We wrote a whole article dedicated to the cutest chain belts too! As for the rest of the look, we tagged some cute LBDs and tights that will complete the look!
Blazer-Cardigan Combos
Fran Fine loved her blazer and cardigan sets! From colorful and crazy to simple and striking, she had many memorable moments in them. We linked some cute sets below so you too can have that powerful moment!
