We LOVE a good monochromatic look for the fall, especially when it’s styled right with the perfect amount of layers. Olivia’s smart chic look features a knitted mock neck top, blazer, wide leg cropped trousers, and a pair of white pumps. But what really caught our eye is the gorgeous link necklace she’s wearing with a large gold ring and chain. The proportions of her outfit are *chef’s kiss*.

To recreate her look, you’ll want to choose a slightly oversized boyfriend fit blazer that hits just below your hips with trousers that hit at your ankles. Additionally, keep the accessorizing simple like Olivia does, and focus on one statement piece (in this case, the necklace) rather than creating multiple focal points. This look can be done with any color you choose, but for fall we recommend a neutral beige color similar to what Olivia is wearing.

These are my FAVORITE fall looks of Olivia’s — they are equal parts cozy and stylish, plus the fall hues are to die for. Both looks feature the same key pieces: A (chunky) knit turtleneck sweater, midi skirt (pleated is optional), and knee-high or mid-calf boots. All these pieces are absolutely fall essentials and can be styled in a variety of ways. To create shape, tuck the front of your sweater into the skirt and add a belt if you desire. To create more interest, opt for a skirt with a geo print pattern in a neutral color palette. Don’t forget to accessorize with a simple satin headband like this one. Finally, finish the look with a classic pair of leather knee-high or mid-calf boots with a comfortable block heel. For a more casual vibe, you can switch your leather boots for a pair of suede ones instead.

Look 5: Patterns + Textures = Heart Eyes

There’s a lot going on in this outfit but Olivia pulls it off flawlessly! We’re loving how playful the look is thanks to the combination of patterns and textures. If this exact outfit might be a bit much for you, here’s how to simplify and recreate the look while still staying true to the essence of it. First, let’s start with the base which is a thin lacy turtleneck top. This piece is definitely much too thin to wear on its own (and may also be see through), but it’s perfect for layering under sweaters and cardigans! Next, pick out your favorite pair of straight ankle jeans that have a similar fit to Olivia’s. Some distressing or color-blocking will create a more casual look while a dark wash will be more formal and sleek. Once the turtleneck top is tucked in, you want to top the look with a patterned cardigan or longline jacket. The key is choosing a piece that offers more drapability in a soft, durable fabric. You’ll also want a piece that has a fastening at the center front as you don’t want to be exposed. Finally, finish the look with a pair of heels in a bright color or one that has embellishments.
