Favorite Makeup Discontinued? Don’t Worry – These Dupes Are Just As Good As The Originals

We’ve all been there: going to buy our favorite makeup product, only to see the devastating words “discontinued.” Sure, you can scour eBay, but who wants to shell out the big bucks for what used to be a $15 product? If you’ve had to say goodbye to your standard lipstick or eyeliner, we’ve got good news: these products are just as good as the originals.

Clinique Supermoisture Makeup was a lightweight foundation which added a dewy glow while masking imperfections. NARS’s moisturizer mimics Clinique’s by offering buildable coverage, rather than turning your face from au naturel to cake-face in one application.

There’s so much to say for waterproof lip liner, and Chanel’s Aqua Crayon was perfect for rare on-the-go touch ups. Givenchy’s lip liner is also long-lasting thanks to vitamins A and E, highly protective carnauba, and candelilla waxes to keep your lines defined and lips smooth at all times.

Hearts broke everywhere when Urban Decay announced that they were discontinuing the original Naked Palette. Luckily, Coast Scents’ eyeshadow palette features similar colors, from shimmery light to dark.

Smashbox labeled their shadow liner as “mistake proof” because its creamy formula could turn conservative eyeliner into the ultimate smokey eye. Ulta’s eyeshadow and liner is extremely pigmented, and it’s smudge-proof, crease-proof…basically, everything-proof, so you look put together all day and night.

If you scour Amazon or eBay, you might be able to score an old tube of Mary Kay’s creme lipstick, but warning: old lipstick doesn’t last well. Bobbi Brown’s lipstick is gorgeous while also moisturizing and softening your lips, thanks to its beeswax and vitamins E and A.
