I can’t stand dark rooms. A dark bedroom for sleeping? Sure. But if the sun is down and I’m not ready for bed, I need the light. For one, cute lamps look good while illuminating your space. And I watch far too many true crime documentaries for me to feel comfortable walking into a dark entryway.
Sconces, ceiling lights, and chandeliers are in a different category, as far as I’m concerned. They tend to be fixed in place for the long term.
But there’s something spontaneous about table or floor lamps — I love how you can move them around your home for different options.
Keep scrolling for our list of cute lamps that will light up your space and give each room some character!
Table Lamps
Chamber Ceramic Table Lamp
This abstract table lamp would look great in a minimalist home. I love how it’s styled here, with wood furniture and a line drawing.
Striped Mushroom Lamp
The light streams through the stripes on this mushroom lamp to a gorgeous effect — I love how you could style this with almost any decor. Available in a variety of colors.
Uma Fluted Glass Lamp
The delicate glass of this fluted lamp is offset by a chunky gold base. I’d place this lamp in an entryway or maybe on a hall table.
Modern Metal Table Lamp
When most people think of metal lamps, they think of dark and gleaming orbs with no personality. Not so with this one — I love the bold simplicity of this lamp. Available in 3 neutral colors.
Glass Cloche 3 Edison Bulb Table Lamp
I appreciate the push-pull of the modern-meets-retro vibe of this table lamp. The aesthetic would look great in both ultra modern and more Victorian-inspired homes.
Hollow Shape Table Lamp Donut Vase Table Lamp
With an organic, natural-inspired sensibility, this lamp would look great in any room, from a nursery to a dining room.
Glass Ball Table Lamp
If you’ve ever dreamed of looking into a crystal ball, this table lamp is for you. This would look good on a low table, surrounded by plants.
Mariposa Table Lamp
Delicate butterflies rest on gold stakes with this table lamp. Meant to be seen, this would be a great option for an entryway.
Dome Collection Accent Lamp
This lamp looks way more expensive than it actually is. I love the burnished quality of the gold base.
Floor Lamps
Bamboo Floor Lamp
I imagine this lamp would look great in a plant-festooned boho chic space.
Phoebe Tiered Fringe Floor Lamp
This fringed floor lamp is giving expensive British hotel vibes — and I’m here for it. Pair with jewel-toned upholstered furniture for maximum effect.

Snowhill Column Floor Lamp
A column floor lamp is just the thing for those who need lighting and storage but are short on space. I love the marble shelves in this option.
Cosmos Floor Lamp
What I love about this floor lamp is the sheer ‘fuck you’ energy it gives off. This lamp doesn’t care if you like it. It doesn’t care if you’re not sure where to put it. The lamp says, ‘put me anywhere, and I’ll class up the joint’. And that’s what makes it great.
Industrial Floor Lamp
This floor lamp takes the traditional shape and turns it slightly on its head. The gold finish makes the lamp seem more modern, as do the cage-like bulb covers.
Shana Floor Lamp
I’d choose this slim-profile lamp for a room that already has a lot of furniture. The minimal frame provides light without overwhelming the space.
