Sugar and Spice Reduced Calorie “Latte”
Save calories (and money!) plus, KEEP the flavor…
How To Order:
Grande americano (hot or iced)
Add 2 inches of soy milk (they should NOT charge you for this. 1-2 inches should be FREE. If they try to, I would let them know that you’ve never been charged for that.)
1 pump of sugar free cinnamon dulce
1 pump of sugar free vanilla
An americano has shots of espresso and water so instead of a latte which is mostly all milk and more calories, this has a bit of a stronger coffee taste but the soy milk really balances it out.

Exclusive Drink Alert! By Bethany Michaels
As a Starbucks barista for 3 years, I’ve experimented and discovered some very enticing coffee secrets! I’m obsessed with good nutrition, so I think you’ll be excited when I share this “off the menu” calorie-cutting Pumpkin Spice Latte with you today. The good thing? It still tastes very similar to the original, so no sacrificing yummy flavors! So what are we waiting for? Let’s cut 75% calories, while still indulging in some epic fall flavors.
How to Order:
“I’d like a Grande coffee with 1 pump of pumpkin spice. Please add an inch of milk (I usually choose soy or coconut.)”
The result? This coffee costs a little over $2.50 (usually the barista won’t charge you for 1 pump) and the “inch” of milk is always free. Not only does it taste a LOT like a latte, but it’s also much cheaper! So now the kicker…how many calories will you save?? A whopping 300+ calories! Ordering this way, your morning coffee will be only be about 40-50 calories. I like to add 1 Splenda and top with cinnamon and chocolate powder, so it still tastes a little sweet. I feel a round of applause and a standing ovation coming on…
Which drink from our list sounded the best to you? Let us know in the comments below!
