I’m always eager to try the hottest beauty products on the market. As a beauty writer, I’m paying attention to new trends, finding products for specific needs, and trying out samples when I can get my hands on them. So, when I found out about Sisley Paris’ Ecological Compound, I knew I needed to try it.

I heard about Sisley’s Ecological Compound because it sells every 30 seconds worldwide. Yep, you heard me – 30. Seconds. Worldwide. If it’s that popular, it has to work, right? Especially when consumers are shelling out $165 for two ounces of the stuff (and $262 for 5.5 ounces), and proceeding to review it as if it’s God’s gift to beauty lovers.

Sisley Ecological Compound – $165+

I’m not kidding: on Sisley Paris’ site, it has one four-star review. The rest? Five stars, going on about its positive effects. Or look on Nordstrom’s site: 4+ stars out of 64 reviews. Bloomingdale’s site? 4.4 stars out of 42 reviews.

Naturally, I had to learn more. So I researched the hell out of it.

First: what exactly does Sisley’s Ecological Compound actually do?

Its major benefit is ultimate hydration, bringing dull skin back to life and giving you the glow you’ve been missing. It’s also a protector from environmental effects on your skin, like pollution and smoke. And then, it brings your skin back to what it once was: soft and supple, rebirthing your skin as if stressors have never touched it.sisley ecological compound

Sisley’s Ecological Compound manages to do all of this with five key ingredients: ginseng, rosemary, hops, horsetail, and Centella Asiatica. Let’s break down what each ingredient brings to the table.

Ginseng root has plenty of compounds that benefit your skin, like vitamins B1, B2, and B12. This helps with circulation, revitalizing your skin into a radiant canvas.

Rosemary tones, while regulating oil production and stopping acne.

Horsetail has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, helping to heal uneven and damaged skin spots.

Hops extract moisturizes without any oil, keeping your finish matte rather than greasy.

Centella Asiatica is the magical ingredient that brings Sisley’s Ecological Compound together. In dermatology, it’s used to treat skin conditions like psoriasis. In cosmetics, it provides antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticellulite, and antiaging properties.

So, yeah, Sisley chose the right ingredients and perfected the recipe for the Ecological Compound. Again: 4+ stars on every site is pretty impressive. But don’t take it from me – they speak for themselves.

Reviews include:

Five Stars: “It has better moisturizing power than any other product.”

Five Stars: “After using this product, my skin is softer, radiant, and supple.”

Five Stars: “This is my new favorite. It moisturizes without being greasy. My skin just drinks this stuff up!”

Five Stars: “This is one of my skincare staples. It smells wonderful, has a lovely, lightweight consistency that sinks in like a dream.”

Five Stars: “I have been using this product for a long time and dread to think what my skin would be like if I wasn’t using it!”
