Quiz: Your Daily Routine Will Reveal What Your New Year's Resolution Should Be
Practice some self care (at least 4x/week)
You’re quite the powerhouse -- go you! That’s what people admire about you. But sometimes all that ambition can just be exhausting. It’s time to practice some intentional self-care, at least 4 times a week in the new year! We recommend journaling, baths, yoga, meditation, or just anything that fills you with life and joy. Keep on rocking!
Get on a steady sleep schedule
You’re a little bit all over the place, which can be so fun. You like when each day is a bit different! But there’s one thing that really should be consistent if you want to be as healthy as possible, and that’s your sleep schedule. Practice going to bed before midnight every night (I know, shocking) and waking up before 8am. Even on weekends! We promise, this will be an awesome game-changer.
Cook for yourself at least 5 nights/week
You’re a busy bee, and at the end of a long day, you’re dying to just grab some takeout and call it a day. We love some good pizza or Chinese every once in a while, but cooking for yourself is a great way to stay healthy and keep food costs low. We recommend meal prepping and planning on the weekends and coming up with a list of super easy, yummy meals you can whip up in a pinch!
Connect with nature at least 3x/week
Ah, the great outdoors. Wait, what’s that? You’ve probably been working from home a lot recently, and the thought of hikes or even a walk around the neighborhood is a distant memory. Well, I’ve got news for you -- treating yourself to some one-on-one time with trees and fresh air is a balm for the soul. Find a sweet podcast and go on a hike at a local park, or just walk down to that creek in your neighborhood, take a walk around the city, or just go sit outside somewhere. Reconnect with the dirt and the air!
