Tie Dye but Make it Professional

We have all jumped on the at home tie dye trend during quarantine or purchased some cute tie dye cozy sweats to lounge in while we worked from home. But now that offices are thinking about opening back up, what if we aren’t quite ready to let go of our tie dye obsession? Is it ever okay to wear tie dye or similar prints to the office?
Well the answer isn’t simple. It depends on your office environment, of course. Is it extremely conservative, an environment where to stray too far from navy is considered “wacky”? Or do you work in a more creative environment? Many designers are making tie dye and dipped dyed workwear that would be perfectly acceptable in a standard office environment although perhaps not in a courtroom or somewhere ultra-serious.

This set from ALC (Sonali skirt and Lillian tee) would be perfect for a more relaxed work environment or on casual Fridays as the top is more of a tee. For a subtle pop of the tie dye look, you can always add an accessory like this Marc Jacobs spray paint crossbody bag

I’d definitely leave the DIY projects and sweats at home, but if you’re heading back into the office and not ready to ditch the tie dye, here are some of our favorite ways to keep this trend going.
