Cheesy Bacon Holiday Crack

Cheesy Bacon Holiday Crack

Thank you Half-Baked Harvest for the recipe!

Ingredients

  • 10 slices thick-cut bacon (chopped)

  • 1 bag black pepper or sea salt potato chips

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • ½ – 1 tsp cayenne pepper

  • Rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over high heat until the fat renders and the bacon is just beginning to crisp, about 5-6 minutes. Slide the bacon onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

  3. Arrange the potato chips on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the chips. Next, drizzle the maple syrup evenly over the chips. Add the cheese and bacon and sprinkle the cayenne pepper. Transfer the pan to the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the cheese has melted. Remove and break the chips into pieces.

  4. Serve warm or at room temperature.
