There aren’t many people who weren’t enamored with Olivia Newton-John. Whether you were introduced to her through Grease, her many albums, or you witnessed Xanadu, the legend made a name for herself onscreen and on the Billboard charts.
Newton-John was a British-Australian activist, actor, and singer. She was a four-time Grammy Award winner and remains one of the best-selling music artists from the second half of the 20th century to the present.
When she wasn’t taking over the charts, she was an activist for environmental and animal rights and breast cancer research. Olivia Newton-John battled breast cancer and made it her life’s goal to support and promote better research for both breast and prostate cancer.
After a thirty-year battle with breast cancer, the actress passed away on August 8, 2022.
