Hallmark’s Countdown To Christmas Is Out And It’s Time To Get Festive

It’s official. The halls are decked, the stockings are hung, the dreams are full of sugarplums, the pudding is pudded, and Michael Bublé is defrosting. In other words — Christmas is almost here… at least on the Hallmark Channel.

Yes, we know it’s October, but Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas starts TODAY and that means we can finally get a little festive!

What’s Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas?

Hallmark’s Countdown is one of my core holiday memories. The countdown starts on October 22 and goes until January 1, giving you all the Christmas feels throughout the holiday season. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night at 8 pm EST, Hallmark will be premiering a NEW MOVIE. This is Hallmark’s twelfth year of counting down the holidays, so they’re pulling out all the stops with 41 original premieres. I know what I’m doing for the next two months!

How do I Watch the Countdown?

Not many of us have cable anymore but that doesn’t mean we can’t join in the festive Christmas cheer. If you have an Amazon Prime account, some Hallmark movies will be available to you. You can also subscribe to Hallmark Movies Now as a Prime Video Channel and get access to over 1,000 hours of festive movies! YouTube TV will give you a chance to watch these movies as well.

Starring Danica McKellar, Benjamin Ayres, and Jason Hervey. 

When the trees on Jack’s family’s Christmas tree farm start dying mysteriously, Olivia, an arborist, comes to the rescue. The two work together to solve the problem while also falling in love.

Boyfriends of Christmas Past

Starring Catherine Haena Kim, Raymond Aback, and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee.

Who needs the ghost of Christmas past when you have ex-boyfriends? In the days leading up to Christmas, Lauren is visited by her past loves as she has to decide whether to give her heart away this year.

Starring Tamera Mowry-Housley, Paul Campbell, and Joe Pantoliano.

What is Christmas without a little crime? Tanya and Ryan pair up to investigate the recent heists in the neighborhood. The catch? They’re posing as newlyweds and are rather convincing.

Christmas in Harmony

Starring Ashleigh Murray, Luke James, Loretta Devine, Michelle Willaims, and Basil Wallace.

Harmony heads home to North Carolina for the holidays and to ask for a job, only to be met with her ex. The two co-direct their church choir and it’s not just the music that’s sweet for them.

In the midst of her “Christmas Around the World” party, an event planner is struck by a heartwarming father-son pair. It seems the two returned home just in time to find love.

Starring Lyndsy Fonseca, Chandler Massey, Lea Thompson, and Christopher Lloyd. 

Angie spends her train ride home daydreaming about her life if she had stayed with her ex-boyfriend. When she arrives home, she realizes she’s 10 years too early and is stuck in 2011!
