Is there anything Dolly Parton can’t do?
This is a trick question because the answer is an emphatic “NO.”
The woman is a beloved icon for a reason — scratch that — a hundred reasons.
The singer, actress, philanthropist (if I listed all the causes she donates to we’d be here until Christmas, but her most recent cause is funding research for Covid vaccines), and business mogul is branching out once again.
Her latest venture is a Christmas collaboration with Williams Sonoma.
Parton has teamed up with the cookware giant and together they’re releasing a holiday line.
The collection is inspired by Dolly’s own holiday traditions and includes Dolly’s signature sugar cookie mix, a gingerbread log cabin that’s inspired by her childhood home, festive aprons, and linens.
“My mama always made us feel loved by making us treats in our little mountain cabin around the holidays,” Parton says in a press release. “Now I get to invite all my nieces and nephews and their kids for what we like to call ‘cookie night.’ It’s the perfect way to spend time with the special people on your Christmas list.”
Do we wish Dolly was one of our special people? OFC we do, but since she isn’t, baking her sugar cookies is a nice consolation prize.
